Sue Jelley loves to travel and many ideas for her Faces and Places of the World Series have been inspired by visits to the Jazz Clubs of London, Paris, New Orleans and Flamenco in Cordoba.  The desert of Arizona and the exciting ebb and flow of the world’s Rivers that nurture us all have left an impression too in many of her landscapes.

​As a Londoner Sue loves working in the City and getting to the essence of her subject be it inanimate or otherwise is an exciting journey she relishes as a painter.
